Battery life is impressive: with GPS, Bluetooth and the screen enabled on during run tracking, I only saw drops of 6-7 percent an hour. That means even if you're actively using the watch non-stop The battery, when stopped, was at 48%, which is a dramatic difference from 20% the other day! Glad it helped! There have been a lot of updates. Make sure you are in latest update and after each update reboot you watch (helps clear update glitches some of which can drain battery). Same here. Charged to 100% last night at 2000. It is now 1800 and the battery is showing 71% charge. No activities in the last 22 hours. Battery drain seems quite excessive. AlexGrondin over 1 year ago +5. My watch is now totally unusable. I've had very good battery life for almost 2 years. I upgraded to 23.10 and battery drains in 1-2 days. v13.22 software - Fast Battery Drain Experienced. zettvier 7 months ago. Hello folks, With the upgrade to 13.22 my Fenix 7 Solar (Garmin Connect iOS) consumes 12% battery per day, after cold start. With 11.28 the watch needed 6-8% per day without sun and activities. It's a pity. i work 12.5 hour shifts as a nurse and I’ve noticed that my body battery seems to fall quicker the higher it starts off. if I start the day with around 80 battery I usually end around 30 but recently I’ve had a couple nights of not good sleep with an unbalanced HRV and I started the day on 50 body battery but ended on 20. * Have a new Fenix 7s since about two weeks - before I had the original Instinct for four years. Like on the Instinct, the first thing I did was activating the "storm alarms" on the brand new Fenix. * Then the first two weeks, up until 2 days ago battery was a disaster (watch lost 25% of charge per day in standby, with Pulseox Off, Stock Until about 3 weeks ago the battery life on my Garmin 5 was something which impressed me the most, as I only needed to recharge my watch every 5 or 6 days. But now all of a sudden I have to charge it every 2 or 3 days. I did not change anything on the watch at all, in fact I even did a complete reset of the watch, turned off the notifications Hello fellow Fenix 5s Plus users! I just recently received a Fenix 5s Plus (coming from a Fenix 3) and am wondering if my battery drain rate is… Same with mi Fenix 5X plus ! About 0.3%-0.5% battery per hour , but after the activity with GPS, the consumption started to be about 1.3%-1.6% battery per hour. Same for both sw 11 and sw 11.73beta. It always helped to restart, but only to the next activity with GPS. Now I downgraded to sw 9.10, so hopefully it will be good. I will test and see I have set the device to log every second and send location every 10 minutes, to drain the device as fast as I can. To my surprise, the battery was at 87% after 4 hours and a bit. So, in this mode and conditions, the battery would keep the device alive for 30 hours, exactly matching Garmin claims. So here I am with very inconsistent results. 1zMGeL.
