I started playing this game with my wife a few weeks ago. It has been really fun, we did not intend on getting an expansion. We realized our…
The daily reset begins at 5pm PST - that’s when login rewards are distributed, so you won’t get anything the first “day.”. Alot of GW2 account things revolve around this reset time. There are exceptions but mostly if it concerns your account, the daily reset will be you base line for that item or event to reset.
Guild wars 2, the modern "successor" of guild wars, offers a free to play mode, allowing for a portion of the content in order to increase server population and eventually lead to more sales down the road. However, despite being a 20 year old game (almost), guild wars doesn't have this. Who, after trying guild wars 2 for free, is going to shell
Just use a guild bank. Its 100x easier. You need to wait 3 days though, as you can't access a guild's bank for 3 days after joining. After 2 messages, it takes like 5 min or less to be unsuppressed. I believe the suppression time gets extended when you continue to try to send mail and are continually told you're suppressed.
Folks are getting too comfortable not doing mechanics. I dunno if I'm just real unlucky with pugs, but I just finished a daily ToF strike, and people just did NOT want to CC the boss so he kept getting healed, dropped the pools right next to the boss, and just refused to attack the ad walking to the boss. Not just in ToF, too.
I'm thinking about starting gw2. I've notice that there's a free version and a paid version. So what's the difference? And is there any restrictions for free version?
I downloaded it and started playing it and I really enjoy it so far. It's really fun. However, I'm worried that I won't be able to appreciate the game fully if I don't get the "core" account.
Nico Nov 25 @ 2:44pm. Yes, it is very much worth it to play it for free. You might have to endure some free2play restrictions, the most noticeable one being the less bag slots (3 instead of 5) but in general the free base game is basically identical to how the game was before expanions got introduced, at least content wise.
