Just wanting to learn, does a Stage mean 1 round of tightening, so first round of tightening is 20nm, then go round again starting at the bolt position 1 and tighten to 60nm, and then finally the 3rd round is not a measure of tightness but how far to turn the torque wrench? Hi all My Focus st is running around approx 300bhp. I'm looking at putting a Airtec Intercooler onto it but not sure which one, either a Stage 1 or Stage 2. Almost first mod I did on each car & well worth doing it to get rid of the massive long vague gear change on both cars!! The mk3's wasn't as bad as the 500 but it is still so much better now! Decat probably marginally better for performance and sounds better IMO. Legalities of decat and general hassle of removals not worth it. Got my 206 Gti 180 stranded too with decat lol. Just sorned them both because of a piece of pipe lol. TFLxsTf.
